To create a portrait that shows the character of the animal, I need to be able to see the expression in the eyes and the textures of the fur. Small or blurred images don’t show this level of detail and so, because of this, I always ask that the photos I am provided with (and that includes digital images) are very sharp and clear; the better the photographs, the better the drawing will be. Use the scroll bar on the right hand side to move through the graphite gallery and click on any image to see a larger version.
