Ceramic Sculpture and Graphite Drawing
Sculpture Gallery
All of these sculptures are unique, with each one being made individually by hand.
The whole process takes about 3 weeks and includes a first firing (also known as a biscuit firing) in an electric Kiln
at a temperature of 1100°C , followed by a second firing after they have had glazes applied, either in a Raku kiln
- where the sculptures are removed whilst still white hot and put into a bin of sawdust - or in the electric kiln again.
