Spinoni are known to be predisposed to torsion.
Sometimes known a "Bloat" or "Twisted Gut". Potentially fatal. Can be caused by vigorous exercise too soon after eating.
Always allow your dog to digest their meals properly before exercising them.
The use of dried (pelleted) dog food may also encourage torsion in a susceptible dog. See our notes on feeding.
